What is the Robo Alive Great White Shark by ZURU?
This is a water-activated robotic toy shaped like a great white shark. It swims on its own in the bathtub or pool and has glowing red eyes. There are no buttons — just drop it into water and it immediately comes to life. Made by ZURU, it’s designed for kids aged 4 and up.
In our case, it was love at first sight — both for the kid and the adults.
How does the Robo Alive Shark work in water?
The toy has water-activated sensors. Once the bottom part touches water, the motor starts running, the tail begins to move, and the shark swims forward. It doesn’t just float — it actually changes direction, speeds up, and turns, imitating real swimming motion.
The red LED eyes add to the drama — when it starts moving in a dim room, those glowing eyes make it look insanely cool.
