Testing methodology

Each Robo Alive toy goes through bench tests and a real-play rotation with kids:

1. Lifelike motion - filmed at 120 fps, compared to the rated species movement.
2. Battery life - timed continuous-run vs intermittent-play patterns on fresh alkaline AAs.
3. Durability - 30 days of normal play including a 1-meter drop test.
4. Sound and lights - decibel reading at 1 meter, checked against parent-friendly limits.
5. Kid engagement - parent diary across 3 households logging hours of play in the first 30 days.

Our writers
